With THE SERAPHIC MIRROR (2020) Marble explores the electric guitar as if in a dream. Literally, for the music was made through his ongoing meditative dreamwork, which has become a daily practice in his quarantine life in Greensboro, NC. Unhurried, each track on the album dwells in spacious atmospheres and inspired voicings--from the litanic folk bliss of "Strigian Enchantment" to the jazz-inflected mystery of "Ophidian Pearl." In addition, Marble's dreamwork and symbolic language are made visible in the accompanying visual art, which he designed for each of the seven tracks (each album purchase includes a PDF of liner notes and art images).
